Learn to sew, troubleshoot a machine and make your own custom patches from everyday materials.
This is a great session to share with a mate, learn to sew and explore creative ideas with your new skills. You’ll leave with a suite of techniques, a handful of patches and the confidence to fix the pair of jeans in your wardrobe. 

LEARNINGS & OUTCOMES: This two hour workshop covers basic sewing 101 skills before diving into several custom patch making and application techniques. So you can get creative restoring bags, garments and apparel. 

• Domestic sewing machine fundamentals (if you need to touch up on your skills).
  
• Patching techniques: Appliqué & Reverse Appliqué.
• How to create your own custom patches (very fun).
  
• Dodgy embroidery.

This class is for beginner sewers looking to see if the world of sewing is for you.
We cover a bunch of great upcycling techniques that are suitable for all skill levels. But the technical skill is entry-level so great for beginners.

• No prior sewing skills required.
• Accessible to all skill levels. If you're a gun sewer, we will push you to get even more creative!
• Anyone that hates landfill and loves creating.

*All of our courses are designed to meet you at your current skill level. If you're new to sewing, we will guide you through fundamental processes. If you're more experienced, we can push you for a more complex design and manufacturing process.
